Don't know what this package is but I am just guessing it device media
sync-ing server related because this happened after I tried to
configure xbmc media center.

Guys my intention was to install usplash from debian sid repos. So I did
remove ubuntus splashy and tried to install usplash but with no success
due to above mentioned "dpkg and lsb init" error I repeat the
installtation was incomplete, but inspite I that I have a working ubuntu
splashy even though
