The Kbuntu implementation of the NVIDIA driver is wrong. This is a fresh
install on an Intel mb (DX58SO) with i7 cpu. eVGA GTX285 graphics
adapter. Resizing the konsole window causes a freeze. I can see a <>

This was on a Dell XPS M1530. The Hard drive was physically removed. I
was attempting to install on a 8gb SD chip. Apparently Grub does not
know how to handle an SD chip.
