The Wesnoth game has a "Language" button on the startup screen, which should be
able to switch the user interface and game data to a different language.
The list of languages is shown correctly, but whatever language is chosen, the

I fixed this problem (for the Italian language, obviously) by adding the
following line to the /usr/share/locale.alias file:
it_IT it_IT.UTF-8
Maybe something similar should be done for Spanish and any other
language that does not work. I'm not sure this is is the only (or the

connection via wired interface. It tries to get an address from dhcp and at the

Well, zypres, at least your comment made me find a work around that works for
me:
It's sufficient to open the web shortcuts preferences panel of Konqueror, and
select something different from strigi as the default shortcut.
I've put google there, as I think it is the KDE default.

The DejaVu package appears to have the DejaVu Condensed fonts, but they
are not available through the KDE font selector. Since other
distriobutions seem to handle the fonts correctly, I assume this is an
Ubuntu issue.

ok ok ok... it is going to sound really weird... look what I did...
I was getting really bad fps on glxgears, around 150fps... I wasted all
day long trying to figure out how to fix it. I tried to install some new
driver... the intel 2.5 and the fps got even worst, around 70fps.
So I tried to comp
1856 frames in 5.0 seconds = 370.735 FPS
that is horrible... try to guess... intel card :/

I also had this issue after gutsy2hardy update with nvidia card. The gdm
login screen had a super high virtual resolution. I remember going
trough a lot of trouble getting the desktop resolution ok. Commenting
the virtual line in xorg did not work for me. What worked for me was
leaving just the res
