Can't typ
This problem went away after I wiped my old firefox profile as part of a
cleanup. So it seems to be related to old profile data. I don't have my
old profile data anymore so I can't check to see if it comes back, but
does anyone else still have this problem if they try using a new
profile?

I second this. One minute is way too long.

Which of the workarounds have you tried? For me, the only thing that
worked was updating the firmware on my sata dvd burner. See if LG has
any FW updates for your model on it's site.

Well, all of the access points that I was trying to connect to weren't
hidden, so I would assume that is unrelated.
And sorry, I completely forgot to mention that I am using atheros with
an asus eeepc.
Since iwpriv ath0 mode 3 didn't work, I managed to fix this problem by
just going into the netw
