backup is fine until it gets to a 20GB virtualbox image...then just sits there.
high cpu usage.

had to delete my .mozilla directory to get firefox to launch.
this was after installing the latest version of karmic while keeping my /home
partition
it all worked fine with alpha4...had nothing but trouble since 15/9/09

with all the latest updates installed (31/8/09)
choosing system/preferences/appearance doesn't load a window.
get a taskbar notification that says 'Starting Appearance' but that goes after
5 seconds
wmv (sorry it was an email attachment) playing through totem. restricted
installed. no problems with 8.10...just upgraded. plays in vlc but very
choppy with audio.
