I too have this annoying bug, since a couple of weeks. I use Karmic, with the
generic 17 pae kernel (higher kernels got a bug in the wireless Ath9k driver).
Please fix it!

Got about the same problem with the Atheros 928 (on Acer Extensa 5230). The
problem started in Karmic: after about 1 minute signalstrength drops with 20
dB. I use WICD.
I installed the 2.6.31.17 generic-pae kernel (instead of the e 2.6.31.17
generic), and the problem was solved.

I work with the Atheros AR928X adapter and the Ath9k driver on an Acer Extensa
5230 laptop.
Ik had no problems in connecting tot the internet from Hardy up to Jaunty.
With Karmic (the 2.6.31.17 generic kernel) the connection dropped in strength
(with 20dB) after about a minute.

Since 1 day my printer (Epson DX3800) doesn´t print anymore. I work under
Jaunty (since the end of april)
The printer is being recognised and installed. I reïnstalled cups as well, but
the problem remains the same: the pinter doesn´t work. The failure notice I get
