In OpenOffice Impress, when I use custom animations to make shapes
disappear, the disappearing does not work when evoked together with
another effect, i.e. by choosing the start option "With previous" or
"After previous". See attached minim
Same problem on my Dapper machine using gvim 7.0.35, cream 0.38, and
vim-latexsuite 0.20041219. Menus appear in gvim but not in cream.

I got the same behaviour on my Ubuntu 6.06 LTS (Dapper Drake) machine
using Nautilus 2.14.3. Unfortunately, bug-buddy also quits with the "has
quit unexpectedly" error massage!
