/etc/apparmor.d/disable/usr.lib.libreoffice.program.* and I rebooted to
be sure to restore apparmor in previous state.
With odt file I can open it while it is in my home directory, I cannot open it
if it is elsewhere,

I cannot open files at all, even if they are in /home/${USER}/ , I
copied an xlsm file to ~/ and I cannot open it, disabling apparmor
profile did the trick.

Is there a way to install fglrx driver ? That is the only one it worked in
these years .
Otherwise please help me to report this bug upstream, since it is present also

I tried like I said with the ubuntu 15.10 amd64 iso , the results of the tests
are almost the same of installed 16.04 :
while installed 16.04 goes static once , then after some seconds it blanks the
screen and returns the static effect (then no moves from then)

able to launch graphical environment without fglrx driver, so since then I
always used fglrx, it was another issue I think, since the screen remained

Today I noticed that if I restart X environment using : sudo service
lightdm restart, the static effect goes away and I can log in and use
graphical environment.

was editing a tex file, cleaning ausiliary files or building a pdf.

I can confirm that now latest version from proposed repository :
- doesn't crash on start anymore
- BPM feature is disabled like this released was supposed to do
So from my point of view this bug is here no longer, as you said it is
now a bug that belongs only to soundtouch.

Even worst in 12.10 , I got ftp/sftp timeouts in early phases of transferring a

I've been able to upgrade apt-cacher-ng using "precise" package deb , I
installed apt-cacher-ng and liblzma5 deb and now it's working , it seems
that the problem disappeared. I think that apt-cacher-ng needs to be
upgraded also in oneiric.

Oneiric is the last ubuntu stable version, are you telling me that I have to
upgrade to 12.04 ?? For what I know now it's in earlier developing phase and
the pc I'm using is a desktop which I use daily...

I encountered the problem again, so I tried to use apport to get crashdumps
like explained on wiki page with this command :
sudo service apport start force_start=1
then I restarted apt-cacher-ng (it was closed by previous crash) and started
scan, it crashed again but I got no apport dialog

Every time maintaining function is called (manually on automatically), if
apt-cacher-ng founds BAD file to truncate it crashes and the only way to
continue this phase is to manually remove the bad file (using rm command) and
restart the service.
