Yes ,it is reproducible with Karmic . I attached a video of the bug :
It starts on the desktop ,then Ctrl + Alt + L is pressed to lock the
screen. After that the screensaver is displayed . By clicking it away,
the formular arrives ...

+ 1. I started the PC
+ 2 I logged in (admins account)
+ 3 I started some applications
+ 4 then I clicked System - lock screen
+ 5.After clicking away the screensaver

On the system there are 2 users ,but only one has yet been logged in ,
when I found the bug .Normally I use the login-screen after the
computer booted

If you lock the screen and want to re-login with the right(!) password ,instead
of getting re-logged-in, an error is displayed : Incorrect password.
Only with change user you can again re-login .
