I have a UX303LA and the drivers work great until I suspend and resume.
Then the backlight for the keys no longer work. The screen brightness
does still work but the OSD Notification does not show when I change the
brightness. How should I go about tracking down the error? dmesg?

Actually. I'm trying to reproduce this bug using the former of the two
drivers and it seems to have remidied it to some degree. With the latter
driver upon suspend resume the backlight for the keyboard always breaks,
whereas with the former driver it is itermittent.

It appears that 3.16.0-28-generic fixes this problem so I will not do a
full bisect. After successfully booting and decrypting my disks with
3.16.0-28-generic, I have just rebooted to 3.16.0-26-generic to confirm
that the issue is still present there. I assume that this issue should
now be closed.

We're not using phablet-bootchart here because this is desktop bootspeed
testing. The phablet bootspeed testing is configured to use phablet-
bootchart, and should work better once that fix lands.

The problem also seems to be related to the current state of the wifi
router. After a reboot of my wireless router, everything works fine
again at the moment.

To check whether the problem is still present in newer kernel versions,
I am now testing 3.18-rc1, and this version has the same problem. What i
find odd, is that the problem is still there after several reboots and
trying differnet kernels, as i cant imagine of anything that changed or
is differen

iwlwifi 7260 Wifi connected but no data
To man
I collected the logs with apport-collect. I am not sure if that matters,
but those logs are collected with the ubuntu kernel (3.16.24). If you
need more information or testing, just let me know. Thanks in advance!

Today the problem occured again running the 3.17.1 kernel. With my Intel
Wireless card I am connected but i cant even ping my router, as soon as
i plugin my USB wifi card everything works fine... So i removed the
kernel-fixed-upstream tag.
