This package should work on all kernels from 2.6.31
Note that before you load that driver, you need to unload 'ricoh-mmc' driver,

edonia, you may edit grub configuration file to boot on older version of linux
kernel. The last version of linux kernel with usbfs support is 2.6.31-17.
Press Alt+F2 and type "kdesudo kate /etc/default/grub" if you use KDE or "sudo
gedit /etc/default/grub" if you use GNOME. In text editor you wil

This driver was just merged to linux-mtd tree, and soon will be merged
upstream, and will appear in 2.6.34
I will backport it to 2.6.32 too soon.
As for creating ppa, I guess I won't have time for that, I soon will be
very busy.

I will try that in a day or two, I'm currently in the middle of triyng
to get PC Navigator (Mapfactor) to exit smoothly from wine. (when I
screw my installation trying to fix it, I will reinstall, English, and
switch to Dutch.
All my installs were fresh byw.

I was unable to reproduce this on an English Language system... I
reinstalled (before I used Dutch) several times from scratch (as I also
did to get rid of the bug in the Dutch Language installation), tried
everything I did before, on the exact same computer. The bug has not
returned.

Could this be a graphic driver related issue? I remember when I still
had a non-updated install of Koala UNR, the icons weren't messed up...

I clean installed Ubuntu Karmic in october 2009 and just discovered that
my system time is 15 minutes off. I had ntp as well as ntpdate
installed, but it clearly never synchronized. The time and date applet
in the panel doesn't work either. I deinstalled ntp and manually
