backport of some MTP-related functions and not really an upgrade to the
whole gvfs.

Just came across this one and YES, it still is an issue on Jaunty 9.04,
patchlevel of today! Problem must be in ohci1394 module, because
unloading and reloading of the module results in normal operation.

On opening a gnupg-encrypted message, the pop-up dialog-box does not
accept input of the passphrase. The third pop-up acceppts input, but
evolution only shows the message as encrypted... manually saving the
mail and decrypting it works...

after not looking into that problem since I installed Hardy from scratch, I
know did some testing with gpsbabel and qlandkarte. For me, it works now out of
the box (the garmin_gps is blacklisted with reference to this bug).
As a reminder: I still use a GPX 76CSx

Better to leave the garmin_gps blacklisted and use
gpsbabel -t -i garmin -f usb:
instead. The driver was blacklisted, because most newer programs use the
usb of garmins GPS directly (gpsbabel, qlandkarte)
