that fails and installed the 22.04.2 package. I then loaded this into
OpenStack and booted a VM. I confirmed that cloud-init ran and the VM
got the correct IP and configuration files.

The dailies fail after an apt update/upgrade and reboot, stating that
the cm5 is not supported by the OS.
I believe this has to do with the System Boot Partition. If I replace
the entire partition (Partition 1) with the version from 25.04 it works
fine.

In my case, this issue occurs after every reboot when I log in through RealVNC.

For anyone who needs a way to get a preinstalled image with the updated kernel
I created a script.
1. Download the latest 24.04.2 preinstalled image for arm64 raspi.
2. Create or select a folder to use for mounting the image (i.e. /mnt)
Copy and run this script from a .sh fil
Apologies for the slow review here. There is one minor problem and one

The minor problem is that Vcs-Git and Vcs-Browser in debian/control
point to a non-existent repo on salsa (I assume this is just default

I traced the two problematic patches and tried to apply the entire set
and it came up with even more unmerged paths came about. Broadcom will

Yes - totally agree. I’m working on a UI refactor right now that will
fix that.
Progress dialogs in general are out of favor in GNOME UI guidelines. So
I’m trying to remove them and rely on inline feedback controls, which
will give control back to the main window to be minimized or closed.

I have been effected with my P50 as well. After changing these settings, i can
confirm this issue is gone for me:

The issue remains the same after installing linux-generic-hwe-24.04.
The kernel is now 6.11.0-generic. I've attached the new set of logs.

Also make sure that SRIOV has been enabled in the BIOS. Also have you
verified that the parent adapter has a connection?

Thank you for the response. Interesting that something seems to be
unique with my system. Everything was initially fine when I assembled
it and installed 22.04.1-desktop. Then an update changed the kernel
from 6.2.0-39-generic to 6.5.0-21-generic which is when the issue
occurred. The problem ha
First, why are you trying to install an rpm on ubuntu? You will need to
convert it to a .deb first. Second what kernel is this? is it 5.15 or
6.8? Lastly, when you run echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/devices//sriov_numvfs try setting it to 0 first and then use 1. Also try
running this command as root.

Beginning with 6.5.0-21-generic, my screen image is corrupted. Adding
'nomodeset' to grub gets around the issue, but a permanent solution
