[Bug 488278] [NEW] package postgresql-8.4 8.4.1-1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: postgresql-8.4 I installed postgresql and tried to configure using a tutorial posted on the net. I couldn't mine working with that. Finally I decided to restart the whole process and uninstalled completely and reinstalled. When I reinstalled I got this
