Temporary workaround that can be used instead of reboot:
$ sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager
This works for me. After restarting NetworkManager all pushed routes are

I am/was experiencing this problem on Ubuntu 11.10. A bit of tuning for
apparmor's confiugration solved the problem for me. Editing
/etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.ntpd and running 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure apparmor' did

I can confirm that the recent udev update broke the fix mentioned in this
thread. I can also confirm that keyboard and mouse works in Bluetooth HCI mode.
However, this bug is for people that prefer HID mode over HCI mode. I have few
problems with HCI mode.

Reinstall of plymouth also made the trick. However, I still don't
understand why plymouth didn't work after 9.10-10.4 upgrade without
reinstall.

Workaround seems to disable the bluetooth host stack of Ubuntu. After
that the keyboard could be used in hid mode instated of hci mode. Side
effect is that Ubuntu has not any bluetooth functionality available.

I can confirm this bug with Dell BT dongle + Dell keyboard and mouse.

Strange. I installed Debian experimental binary packet 2.3.0-1 directly
and that seems to works without any freeze. VT switching still cause
black screen but that probably other unresolved bug.

Same happens to Dell Optiplex 745 with Q965 but only sometimes. Restart
fix it usually. Also VT switching and X restart is broken. I'm not sure

distribution. Everything went fine until package install process. At

I think I just solved the problem and it was KDE-related (Konsole,
Konqueror...). Apparently the locale-settings were screwed. After running 'sudo
dpkg-reconfigure locales' and 'sudo apt-get install localeconf' the problem was
