Binary package hint: update-manager
I was upgrading to 8.04 from 7.10.
This problem occurs after two others bugs appears (one with VirtualBox and one
with Listen Music Player).

package update-manager 1:0.87.21 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage:
SystemError in cache.commit(): E:Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error
code (1), E:Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg ret
This bug crahes the update manager before the end of the upgrade process. So I
think the clean step and reboot step are not done.
Before manually reboot, I've lauched synaptic to look after brocken packages,
but nothing special happen... Just two packages blink as not updated (octave
and Virtual
