Same here. Ubuntu 14.04 64bits, Nvidia 331.38.
Disable plugins did the trick, but I'm waiting for a real fix.

Same problem. Fresh Install of Ubuntu 12.10 64bits. I can only reboot
and shutdown by command line.

The scroll button between the left and right mouse button on the touchpad are
reverse (up scrolls down, down scrolls up).
