I wanted to link the upstream bug, but it seems launchpad is broken at
the moment:
There is one bug directly related to this one that has been closed as a
duplicate of another. In it it clearly states that 3.5.6 worked and 3.5.7
doesn't (which I think is this and also my case).

My original report was from Edgy with jridell packages of koffice 1.6.0
(sorry I didn't tell about it originally, i didn't even notice it). Now
I've upgraded one machine to Feisty Herd 3 and the official 1.6.1
packages.
Seems it isn't working either in this version. Gif are still NOT

squid_unix_group doesn't work for me in ubuntu dapper when I enable
winbind authentication.
- Without winbind it seems to work ok (tried on a different machine).
- With winbind authentication enabled it segfaults (tried in two different
machines)
Same for me both on i386 and AMD64.
I've even tried purging the package, but the problem persists.
