FYI: The screenshot attached originally doesn't show the bug because due
to another bug the contexts of the overlay video surface is apparently
not captured in the screenshot.

After about an hour of CPU hogging pain with the new driver I reverted
to the old Hardy driver. I then change my power options to say that

any sudo operation and in particular I cannot start sudo gdb so I

If you have mozilla-plugin-vlc installed, this bug can be avoided by
opening Tools::Add-ons::Plugins and then disabling the plugin called
VLC Multimedia Plugin 0.8.6e Janus. This is definately a VLC bug, this
specific version of the plugin should be blacklisted imho.

I also saw this all the time in Gutsy. As a Windows convert I keep
double clicking the updates available tray icon by mistake and thus I
always get two instances which is annoying :-)

Hardware Testing app hangs

hwtest-gtk crashes and consumes 100% cpu power
I'm also seeing this, on a HP DV6000 laptop. lshw hangs both from hwtest
and from terminal. I tried to install the fixed .deb but gdebi said
later version already installed and there was no 'override' button so
I don't know how to install it :-/
