yes i experience the same behavior. not sure how to reproduce it
reliably but i see it happening at least 3 times a week.
same symptoms as OP xubuntu 18.04 fully updated, thunar 1.6.15

KDE 4.3RC1: Gwenview and Konqueror crash/partially broken with message:symbol
lookup error: /usr/lib/libnepomuk.so.4: undefined symbol:
_ZN7Soprano4NodeC1ERKNS_
It seems that upgrading/reinstalling the packeges (especially the
libraries) from the ppa solves the problem.
Apparently this was caused due to a version mismatch with the soprano-
libraries.. (see http://chakra-project.org/bbs/viewtopic.php?id=930)

I can confirm this on Ubuntu 9.04 with the KDE4.3.0 PPA right after
4.3.0 release.. (only gwenview tested)

yes, i have to correct myself (comment from 2008-07-31):
it happened again.. but since i updated mdadm (several months ago), the
issue is gone.. i did it the way Alan Jenkins described on 2008-07-29.
i never did anything to the udev-rules or the raid-partitions

another (strange) solution or workaround:
it _seems_ like the problem is gone if i boot without the parameters "quiet
usplash" !?!
i modified my menu.lst, ran update-grub and since then the bug didn't occur
once..
@ Alan Jenkins: if mdadm is buggy, shouldnt we expect an update via the repo

ok, its NOT solved for me too..
it happens to me every 2nd cold boot or so.. after 2-5 x "mdadm --stop
/dev/md0" i get the array to work and can actually use the machine..
any chance to fix this??? anyone?
is this bound to ubuntu or does it also happen to other distros?

Thist annoying error just occurred to me.
I have a simple raid1 with two devices as my home. worked fo years.. fresh
hard-install a month ago..
i can find it in the mdadm .conf

i can confirm this bug on kubuntu feisty (latest updates, no desktop effects)
today i noticed it for the firs time.. (maybe it came with the 2.0.0.8 update?)
right now i have a 50/50 chance of seeing the page-content
this kills the usability of firefox for me :(

exist in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ but there are no links in
/usr/lib/firefox/pugins/
creating the symlinks manually solves the problem for me

at the end of the upgrade the manager got stuck at 100% cpu usage; had
to kill it.
after that dist-upgrade through aptitude fixed the few remaining
packets. now everything seems to be ok

confirmed 0.3.9ubuntu5 on a fresh kubuntu edgy installation..
starting adept stops it but on next reboot the cpu-spikes come back
again.
i cant just remove it because it would also remove kubuntu-desktop,
etc...
i know you are working hard, but please consider giving this bug a
higher priority.
i have a fresh edgy running for a few days...
today suddenly apt-index-watcher 0.3.9ubuntu5 shows this annoying behavior
