Infact we have tested this on a few fresh installation of Ubuntu. In my
experience all other audio software, e.g, mplayer, works fine, but when

Alsa fails to detect my audio card

I upgraded my kernel from 21-19 to 24-21 and sound card stopped working!
it cannot find any sound card. If I boot from old boot images, sound
card works fine.

not have this one.
