light colors so that the dark is light and the light is dark, so I get
light text on dark background to match the breeze dark color scheme.

(Intel HD4000 graphics, Aspire S3-391) but I have the same issue with

only the boot screen after logging out and no keyboard input appears on-
screen. When I ctr+alt+del the it shows it shutting down and the
computer restarts as expected. I'm running the stock Intel driver

player or bangarang. I'm using ALSA and have pulseaudio removed. I never
saw this problem in Ubuntu 9.10.

I'm having this issue in Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic. The bottom panel has
"expand" disabled and "autohide" enabled. Using the panel preference
setting I cannot change its orientation--it's stuck on "top". If I
change it in gconf-editor it can be changed but as soon as it unhides,
it shoots back to the top

I can confirm on Karmic as well. I found a simpler workaround was to
simply remap the sticky buttons. In my case the volume buttons stuck, so
I remapped volume up to "shift + right arrow" and likewise for volume
down and mute. Now the the volume control keys don't stick.
