Hi, I have similar problem upgrade from 7.10 to 8.04 the install crash.
Attach the /var/crash/update-manager.0.crash (but it's empty)

I have the same problem with a Wifi PCI card D-Link DWL-510
When try to connect to Wifi Lan the leds:
- Num_lock OFF
- Caps_lock BLINKING
- Scroll_lock BLINKING
I test to use the ndiswrapper drivers, but doesn't work.
Hardware:
HW IBM PC 300GL (Pentium II - 128Mb RAM)
