I got the same error after opening computer janitor while synaptic was
running. I agree that this should be fixed.

When I enable indexing with Tracker my CPU goes to 100% within a minutes
or so. When I open the system monitor there are multiple instances of
odt2txt running (I've seen up to 4 before I start killing them). I have
a clean install of Jaunty Desktop (32-bit), I've only added a few

I'm having the same problem with evince in Hardy. Attached is a PDF
file that freezes while loading...sometimes (see below). It seems to
happen with many different PDFs but the bug is inconsistent. The
problem only happens if evince opens maximized. For example, I opened
the attached PDF twice
This happens with all the PDF files I try to open. It first happened
this moring; it had been working fine before that. Friday may have been
the last time I tried it before today. It may have stopped working
after I installed updates this morning. Attached is one of my PDFs.
