I have the same problem on 10.04, however only when running a Windows XP
guest on Virtualbox 4.0.4. Additionally the Virtualbox guest window
sometimes doesn't get refreshed anymore, unil I resize the window
several times.

Daniel, I agree. See Screenshot. The dead area pretty much corresponds
to the switcher window for two applications. I was able to reproduce
this twice, but not exactly sure how. In all cases I first noticed the
dead area while (manually) selecting every odd file (holding down Ctrl)
with nautilus in

10 px or so are outside of the switcher's grey background.
Maybe this is one of the many nvidia issues? I'm using nvidia-173.
nvidia-current doesn't work with compiz (and unity neither).

I have the same problem with about every second pdf I want to open with
the acroread ff-plugin. When I start first acroread then firefox via
terminal I get the following errors and warnings:

JRE and OpenJDK JRE, and both crashed Thunderbird.

No this doesn't work correctly in Jaunty with an open remote connection as I've

I probably found the cause of this bug. I again tried to hibernate and
realised that right before there appears another output for a few
milliseconds which says that there is no swap. Obviously I forgot to
reactivate my swap-partition after repartitioning my hd. After
