Bug get out !!! I follow your instruction, except I've start on my old kernel configured 640x480 : - when I restart, Nvidia logo appeared in fullscreen, then my "login screen" in 1280x800 !! - so I run my user and I can set my screen in correct dimension. Now, I'll restart on my last kernel...

hello, I restarted my laptop but I chose kernel "18" instead "19" My "login" screen was 800x600 and I connected on "admin user" The file xorg.conf was configured with Driver "vesa" and support only 800x600. So, I follow your instruction again : - sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg - sudo gedit
