Public bug reported:
When using a VirtualBox guest in full screen, and wanting to switch back to my
desktop, I hit right-Ctrl to give control of mouse and keyboard back to the
host. But when I then Alt-Tab, the switcher is not visible.
Also, same thing when I minimize the VirtualBox guest: I see
I didn't flag this report as a security vulnerability, but could it be?
I mean if the app that is currently open and full screen has access to
some of your sensitive information and you step away without the screen
locking, it could give someone a chance to access your details.

Public bug reported:
Some apps (e.g. TuxPaint, but there are others, I think notably ones
that run in full screen) prevent the desktop from locking.
Only once you close those apps or windows does the screen lock (or does
it come up at any rate).
This is something that has bugged me (and therefor
Also of interest is that I have an Ubuntu server 12.04 installation (or
was it 12.10? - not in front of it right now) and there the Tab
completion did nothing.

Public bug reported:
I start up the clojure REPL using "lein repl".
When I do TAB-completion, it seems to take previous output from standard

Just to confirm, running the clojure repl directly with 'clojure' from
the command line does completion properly.

Public bug reported:
When you have a terminal window open with a single tab, the keys for
switching tabs (Ctrl+PgUp/PgDn) produce characters in the terminal;
specifically Ctrl+PgDn produces ";5~" and Ctrl+PgUp produces "5~".

I wonder. Possibly no effort was made to anti-alias the borders around
the windows? I can't say, because I don't have such in-depth knowledge.

Hello Bevor, I have this issue everywhere. Perhaps you should look at

I would be curious to hear from anyone on this list whether they have
experienced this too. Perhaps you don't really use compiz and wobbly
windows in particular so much? The effect is very noticeable as well if
you drag a window along slowly - you see these white pixels between the
window's menu ba
Oh, and I did upgrade some cups-related packages prior to starting the
troubleshooter on the printing administration tool. Not sure if that
also helped resolve it.

OK, well it seems that cups was simply not started, although there is no
indication why, and the only reason could have been the upgrade, which I
performed using the upgrade tool on the update manager.

After upgrading from Karmic to Lucid, my Hewlett-Packard OfficeJet J2100

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: compiz
Some compiz effects, like pulling or dragging wobbly windows produce
very rough, unappealing edges. This is very obvious, for example, when
pulling on a maximized window, as it produces rough lines.

I see this has been open a long time. Are there any plans to package

One more thing: I am new to Launchpad, and I see this bug is for Debian,
while the duplicate is for Ubuntu. Does that still make it a duplicate?
Will it getting packaged ensure it is added to the Ubuntu repositories?
