I do have the same issue on Jaunty x32 with a RT kernel.
It perfectly works on Jaunty generic x32
Nvidia 9600 GT 1.80 drivers
This bug priority should be increased when I see the number of people
complaining on forums.

Hi all,
I confirm the bug, it happens only on EMU0404 PCI cards.
It seems there is different card version.

We also made a tutorial to install this card, only few users are
impacted.
We installed this card on several systems without any issue, only few of

I was able to recover a Gnome installation with the following:
* Reboot to the broken installation, and SSH in.
* Install scrollkeeper (probably unnecessary). This forced removal of rarian
and a lot of Gnome.
