When i boot on the new kernel, with acpi=on option, the boot stops at
Loading ACPI modules step.
My laptop is a Acer Aspire 1683 WLMi
** Affects: linux-source-2.6.20 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status:
With option acpi=off, the boot goes on but of course no battery, no
cpu scaling, and no wifi.
