I'm confirming this bug. It does exist on Maverick. I have Maverick
installed and my test systems has three NVIDIA GTX 480s in trisli. Fermi
chips are totally unsupported in Maverick for the NVIDIA GTX 4XX
generation Fermi cards.

Trying to install a clean Alpha 6 AMD64 live build onto my system,
Ubiquity appeared to crash and then I was exited to GDM with an
automatic login timer counting down. Then I was re-logged in with no
explanation as to what was going on.

Sindhudweep there is no AVC decoder that will decode all AVC file types.
The profiles are simply too broad and the levels too many within the
standard for all AVC streams to play with the one decoder. Just like
how no one AVC encoder will encode for all profiles and levels. For the
ffmpeg decoder
I have conducted fairly wide tests on AVC playback using my own compiles
and have not identified any problems with properly encoded H.264 streams
with the release code.
Its an essential upgrade to the release revision given the number of
fixes committed to SVN.

There is some VDPAU bugs that NVIDIA have fixed for the next release.
There is some user error with not fully removing old drivers and
manually installing the 180.35 driver.

NVIDIA have released a new stable driver 180.35. Most importantly this
provides VC1 and WMV acceleration for all VDPAU supported GPUs.
Release Highlights:

I am sure it is a regression because I used to be able to edit the MTU
under Intrepid, and now with Jaunty I am prevented from doing so. Please

Expected Result 1: Valid implicit policy kit authorisation changes are
applied.
Expected Result 2: Valid explicit policy kit authorisation changes are
applied.
Execution Steps:
System - Administration - Authorisations
org - freedesktop - network-manager-settings - system - modify system
connect
Confirmed. This is currently occuring on Jaunty as of 13/02/09. What
happens is that the user selects to install NTP, but the time and date
GUI does not correctly update itself to show that condition. It forces
the user into a non-intuitive process of exiting the time and date GUI,
and re-entering
Noting that a test of glxgears works, so the problem seems more to do
with SDL.
