Hi, Same issue here. Since around 1,5 month laptop gets terribly slow when running on battery (was ok before). CPU usage runs close to 100% (but laptop is not heating up). Ubuntu 12.10; Nvidia Quadro FX 1800M
"sudo pm-powersave false" helps with this issue. Thanks for tip Luis!
