about every half an hour the connection is lost and I have
the wifi connection gets lost every half an hour

gedit doesn't delete hidden temporary files, whose names end in ~ once
you close a file and gedit doesn't need them. I find many of them
sometimes, even from deleted text files. I have ubuntu 12.04 with
mate.

there are just a few firms (garlach44, system76 and others) selling pcs
and servers with linux preinstalled. expanding linux in the server
sector might be a very good first step. maybe one day linux enterprises
and communities will own small pc firms.
