When i install Ubuntu Gutsy Tribe 5 (with default options) the installer
I confirm this bug.
When I cut a file and paste it in another directory, the thunar window suddenly
disappear (but the file is moved anyway).
When I look at the logs I see this :

I don't know why but it seems solved now.

I agree with the bug report. It will be more consistent to have just one

I can confirm this bug.
When i want to listen a directory full of mp3 files i launch VLC and i clic on
File - Open directory and then i can listen my music.
When i close VLC the sound continues.
I have to kill wxvlc to stop the soundvery annoying !
