I've noticed extremely high cpu usage (around 100%) by tumblerd (and
frequent crashes) when downloading video files. I'm using Xubuntu 14.04
x64, and I was downloading the respective video files using uget with
aria2 plugin enabled. My only file manager is thunar. My cpu is a

It happens to me also in Saucy x86. Ktorrent would not start, and when
invoked from console, it gives the respective error message. Disabling
nepomuk (in System settings > Desktop search), seems to fix the
problem. With Nepomuk disabled, Ktorrent starts normally.

I've encountered this bug both in vlc 2.0.6 and 2.0.7 (the last one
installed from a ppa), under kubuntu 13.04 x64. I didn't install
initially vlc-plugin-pulse, and in the vlc settings menu audio output
was set to default (not alsa). So this cannot be a case of wrong
configuration made by the user,
Forgot to mention that mine is a fresh install, without a separate /home
partition, so it cannot be the case of leftover configuration files.
