After install 3 finger swipe worked to switch Workspaces, now it no
longer works. It seems Wayland stopped working and I'm forced to use

I wanted to switch from Fedora 29 to Ubuntu 18 LTS. I also have NTFS
partitions for Win10, I did not want to touch those.
After telling the installer to format the Fedora partition as ext4 and
mount it as / it continued and while I was typing in my user details it
crashed.
Yes, I had to create the file as well.

If a beginner user experiences the above and its password contains
special characters then it could prevent the user from logging in -

I tried changing the system locale to Hungarian. It did not help the
keyboard layout issue, after every restart it is changed back to en_us -
rather annoying.
Any advice on how to fix this?

I just checked the console (Ctrl + Alt +F1) and the keyboard layout
there is fine so it seems that only the GUI is affected. Also the
settings in /etc/default/keyboard confirm this.

This loads the chosen layout - would be nive if this would work

I just installed the Beta 1 and during setup I chose en_us locale with
Hungarian keyboard layout.
During setup it works as expected however after running the installed system
the layout seems to be en_us. Checking the keyboard settings it tells me that
only Hungarian is

1. Add another keyboard layout.
2. Remove original layout (Hungarian in my case).
3. Re-add your original layout.
4. Remove temporary layout.

I must correct myself - the reciever that works is connected to the
