Problem still happens with same original laptop and Ubuntu 9.04, 32 bit.
And it is random.

Hi again,
My problem is huge fonts in the login screen (happens every time I reboot or
log off).
I've also had the same situation as in your picture, but then I reboot. It
solves the problem.
I'll check on Hardy soon enough, I hope.
