sort of problem regularly ... also cannot run DARKROOM photo software

I am sending this report because the 'fold away' application bar (on the
left of the screen) remains on top of the programme I was using
(KDENLIVE). I have experienced this on many occasions, and am surprised
that the current MOZILLA screen behaves correctly when fully folded
