Magnatune won't do anything with the standard distribution.
I stubled upon the build amarok-utils (2:2.8.0-0ubuntu7) and that
worked. Only today came the update amarok-utils (2:2.8.0-0ubuntu9) and
again it doesn't work anymore.

With the new 3.11 kernel I have this issue: after suspending both my
(usb) keybord and my (usb) mouse are "out".
Ubuntu (13.10 64 bit) and Kubuntu (13.10 64 bit) behave in this way. I
removede the video card and with the "on-board" (very basic Nvidia too)
device it worked ok.
My laptop (Compaq 6720s, bought in 2008) behaves also like this. After "waking
up" the fan is turning on full speed with raring. With quantal it behaves as it
should.
I tried all kinds of things to cure it (GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet
splash acpi_osi=linux" etc). Nothing worked. But the fi
