After installing new updates op Ubuntu 12.10, lightdm stopped working
properly, I can loggin but after that it only shows my wallpaper and my
cursor.

Earlier i have reduced my gg contacts list and pidgin was stable. The
bug hit me again now. I reduces the user list by some but it does not
help. I can switch off all accounts in the xml file, pidgin will start

lid not working correctly - bug #986724.
I want to check, if that issues is duplicate. Is problem with close lid

what's it worth I did tested the vanilla 3.5 and 3.6.3 kernel and the
bug is present there, maybe that can a bit help when you know that none
of the ubuntu's kernel patches have anything to do with the issue. I can

sudo dpkg --remove libatk*
sudo apt-get -f install

Temporary work-around:
killall -9 empathy
killall -9 /usr/lib/telepathy/mission-control-5
then restart empathy. Should work until it breaks again.

Same here. Lenovo T61 with nvidia Quadro NVS. System shuts down but
doesn't power off. The problem disappears when the battery is removed.
Extremally annoying.

Due to similarity of the font color and background color the gedit
embedded terminal (from package gedit-plugins) is unreadable. On some
displays it looks as if it doesnt work.
Workaround:
-run dconf-editor
-go to org-gnome-plugins
-uncheck option use-theme-colors

After few hours of using ubuntu of after system suspension in Gnome-
shell GUI you can't access power statistics - when you open them, it

Yeah my indicator just suddenly stopped working and doesn't start, get
the same error, and there were no updates going on that I know of, it
just randomly stopped working...

I've installed Flash-Aid plugin for firefox and installed beta flash
from adobe lab repo using this plugin. Works well so far, flash crushes
sometimes but X doesn't restart randomly.
