The latest Ubuntu kernel, 2.6.35-25 breaks the resume portion of the
suspend/resume process. As far as I am able to tell, it does suspend

I also have this problem with jaunty/server. My workaround is to comment
out the auto line for the alias and us post-up / pre-down to bring the
aliases up:
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static

post-up ifup
The memory leak occurs for any OpenGL application on x64. Try running glxgears
in a terminal, and it will leak noticeably too.
This persists into 8.43.2, and will probably last a few more releases.

I get this too on both Edgy(i386 AMD64) and Feisty(AMD64). Whether I
install or not, after the disk is ejected my system freezes. Linux Mint,
however seems to have fixed this issue.
