Public bug reported: Whenever we use Fanotify to monitor "CIFS" mounted volumes and try to write to a new file by doing: echo "ABC" > /mnt/cifs/test.c It takes around 10-15 secs to complete the write operation. This happens only when we try to monitor "FAN_OPEN_PERM". Looks like "FAN_OPEN_PERM"
