Experiencing the same issue in Ubuntu 10.04 (64-bit edition) in both KDE
and GNOME, qtcreator takes about a minute to start and when it finally
does, it's constantly using 100% CPU.
Is anyone looking into this?

Any word on when this fix will be pushed out for Karmic? That's what
most of us are using at the moment. :> Or are we actually going to have
to wait for 10.04 to be released before we can play DVD's in Ubuntu
again?

I'm experiencing the same issues with "crackling sound" in FlightGear
using Karmic, I have an Intel HDA-based on-board chip for sound. I've
seen the same issue in most other games using OpenAL that I've tried as
well, so I doubt it's just a problem with FlightGear in Karmic. I think

Preliminary results from my own machine seem to indicate that things are
working smoothly when the patch is applied (at least in the 32-bit
iteration of Karmic), excellent work Sergey, thank you very much. If we
can get this included as a patch to libdvdnav in the repositories that
would be great,
Oddly enough, when selecting OSS as the sound output device, it doesn't
seem to occur... At least on my end!

I'm currently seeing the same bug in Ubuntu 9.10 (32-bit) using its
version of LMMS (0.4.5), although I -didn't- experience it in 9.04.
After closing LMMS it remains running in the background using 100% CPU
and has to be killed manually.
