Can confirm this bug on a Compaq 6910p laptop. Harddrive is detected by kernel, I can partition/format/mount using both fdisk or gparted. But when running installer(Prepare partitions) disk/partition is not recognized. Also tried booting with dmraid disabled, same fault. Linux ubuntu
