I updated the BIOS and got the exact same result: meaning that when I suspend the disk shuts down, the monitor goes to text mode (and I see the cursor blinking) but doesn't turn off and also the power supply is still on (i.e. the fan). I cannot get back from that mode: no ctrl-alt- delete,
