Karmic will come out in 11 days, and most of the intel chipsets with
"Analog devices" codec are problematic...

I'm still wondering how can a "stuttering microphone issue on netbooks

I use the Nvidia propriatary drivers and, trying to help the nouveau project, I
disabled the desktop effects and ran REnouveau.
