Karmic will come out in 11 days, and most of the intel chipsets with
"Analog devices" codec are problematic...
And Intel chipsets is a huge part of the computer users arround!

Go and open the file in "/usr/share/doc/alsa-base/driver/HD-Audio-
Models.txt.gz" and find your model of card. Remember it as XYZ.
Change /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf

I use the Nvidia propriatary drivers and, trying to help the nouveau project, I

Since I downloaded the Karmic Beta, the Floppy drive keeps clicking
every 2 seconds. It seems to interfere with the system clock, because it
