kernel version in my Laptop is 5.8.0-38-generic, but still I am having
this same bug from Ubuntu. Did try blacklisting intel_vbtn "sudoedit

I am on Kubuntu, with a hybrid Intel-NVIDIA card.
I have upgraded recently from 14.04->14.10->15.04, all in immediate
succession. Upgrade process went without a problem and I was able to use
the computer for a few days. Then once this "ACPI PCC probe failed"
message appeared, but the boot process

This is 'solved' for me. i had same error with dependencies while
installing 'shutter'. Then a few days later i upgraded xfce to 4.10
from its dev repo (http://www.webupd8.org/2012/05/install-xfce-410-in-
xubuntu-1204.html) and the problem is solved.
