Oh, and I forgot to say, not being able to download any additional software
to get the modem going, and not being able to look at these bug reports to
find a work-around. Most frustrating.

I think this was some problem with the Java installation. I uninstalled
Freemind and also uninstalled all Java components I could find. Then re-
installed Freemind allowing it to select it's own Java dependencies.
Now works OK.

On a clean install of Ubuntu Studio, after setting up and running Jack,
apparently without any problems, midi output from Rosegarden doesn't
produce any sound.
According to the AconnectGUI and Jack's 'Connections' dialog everything
is connected as it should be with Rosegarden
I've attached a backtrace (I think!). This is from restarting evolution
with an IMAP account open so it tries to show the selected email and
immediately crashes.
