Doing this: tput setaf 3; echo bla; tput bold; echo bla and selecting the resulting text with the mouse will highlight the text correctly (i.e. the second line only is bold and color inverted, the first only color inverted). I tried different fonts, all showed the same symptoms. -- konsole
