Public bug reported:
This error came up as a result of downloading application as part of
update package.
ProblemType: Package
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04
Package: libgksu2-0 2.0.13~pre1-1ubuntu4.1
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-25.44-generic 2.6.32.21+drm33.7
Uname: Linux 2.6.32-25-generic
i would like to second bill's bug. installing the 2.6.24.18 kernel
update immediately broke not just my personal network connection, but my
entire home network. hardware issues including modem, router, cabling
and onboard ethernet have been eliminated as the source of the problem.
reversion to 2.6.
The system is logging constant attempts to trun the fan on but seemingly
to no avail. I do not even know if it is a HP bug or a Ubuntu bug. My
computer is a HP Pavilion a610n. The fan had worked with Windows XP so
I believe the problem is communication between the OS and the computer.
