Thanks NeoAndersen, that is a good workaround!
Hope it gets fixed, it is quite annoying. It actually looks like it
writes out to -32000 for some reason then gets stuck.
Changing it in the file did nothing. I realized I had to edit it as
Admin, but still no dice.
Your fix worked for now,
I am able to confirm that unchecking Remember last view mode for each
connection works for me.
Thanks for the help Øyvind

I can confirm that jmilus' workaround works the same as reopening the
window.
Additionally, I have also confirmed that when the screen is black, the
connection is made, but the login does not happen. Once the screen size
is changed, or a reconnection is made, the login occurs. It appears to

When I open a new server from the main Remmina window the first time, it
opens a window, but only shows black. Netstat shows a connection was

If I close the window and try to reopen the connection, the same thing

Thanks Jean-Louis, This PPA works! I'll let you know if I have any
issues. This even seems to fix my issue with the last version of
Remmina and XP clipboard.

FYI: to anyone trying this, once I added it to my updates, I had to pkill

The update definitely fixed the scrolling issue. I followed Jean-Louis

I just had the same problem. I did have my disk fill with .xsession-
errors up to 100%. I was getting this message over and over again. I
just moved all the .tmp files out of the directory, and it seems to work
fine now.

Remmina, unfortunately, may be the source of a number of my issues. It
crashes occassionally, and it causes the drive to fill up with
.xsession-errors like this bug states...
Too bad, because it is a great program.
